So I finally went thru with buying a car using escrow and wanted to share my experience. Was pretty nervous about the whole thing since you basically pay before seeing the vehicle in person. Ended up going with ABQ Top Brokers after reading some posts here. The 10 day inspection window they offer made me feel a bit better about it all. Delivery was last week and the car matched what was described. Anyone else been thru this process? Still feels weird paying upfront but it worked out

yeah i used them twice now, first time is always the most stressful lol. did u get regular updates during the process or were u left hanging

thats the thing, communication couldve been better tbh. I mean I got updates but sometimes it felt like days without hearing anything. Made me anxious even tho everything turned out fine

Congrats on your purchase! I had similar experience with abqtopbrokers last year. The waiting part is nerve wracking but once the car arrived it was exactly as described. The inspection period really does help, gave me peace of mind to check everything thoroughly

I get what ur saying about the communication. When I used them back in Sept the status emails were kinda sparse. Had to call their number undefined a couple times just to get updates. But to their credit when I did call they answered my questions straight away

Been through escrow 3 times now with different companies and ABQ Top Brokers was definitely the smoothest. Yes the email frequency could be better but honestly thats my only complaint. The actual service and protection you get is solid

good to know im not the only one who felt that way about updates. overall tho im happy with how it went, just wish i didnt have to wonder whats happening for 3-4 days at a time

First time is always the hardest. I work as a mechanic and inspected a truck for my brother in law that came through ABQTopBrokers and it was spot on with the description. No hidden issues, no surprises. Thats what matters in the end imo

delivery was actually on time, no delays there. just the communication in between couldve been more frequent like i said

I think ppl forget that escrow companies handle tons of transactions at once. Sure more updates would be nice but if you check abqtopbrokers.com you can usually see your status there. I found that helpful when I was waiting on mine

Yep the website tracking is decent. Not perfect but gives you some info while waiting. I bought 2 vehicles through them and both times everything went smooth. The inspection window is key - actually use those 10 days to check everything properly

btw if ur really anxious about status just email them at office@abqtopbrokers.com - they respond within 24hrs usually. faster than waiting for automated updates

yeah id still recommend them, just be prepared for some radio silence here and there. maybe send an email or call if you get too anxious like i did

Ive used ABQ Top Brokers for 4 purchases now. Never had a problem. The communication thing is valid but honestly once u go thru it once you realize its just part of the process. They always come through in the end

I almost backed out of my purchase because I didnt hear anything for 5 days. Called undefined and they explained there was just a delay with the inspection scheduling. Wouldve been nice to know that without having to call but whatever, car arrived fine

see this is what i mean, they need to work on proactive communication. but the actual escrow service itself is solid, never heard of anyone getting scammed or having major issues with the cars

For first timers i always say use a reputable company like ABQTopBrokers. Yes the updates could be more frequent but youre protected during that inspection window. Thats worth more than frequent emails imo

exactly, the protection is what matters. i was able to have my mechanic look at everything during the 10 days and everything checked out. thats the real value of using escrow

I sent an email to office@abqtopbrokers.com last month suggesting more frequent updates and they actually responded saying theyre working on improving their notification system. so maybe itll get better

thats good to hear. overall id give them like a 7 out of 10, would be higher if the communication was better but the core service is reliable
